School Organization

Haslett Public Schools serves students from preschool through graduation across five buildings, each designed around the developmental needs of its students, plus a full range of community education programs.

Our Schools

Pre-K to Grade 1

Wilkshire Early Childhood Center

Located on Academic Way, Wilkshire houses all of Haslett's pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and first-grade children, with a curriculum developmentally tailored to young learners.

Grades 2 to 5

Ralya & Murphy Elementary Schools

Ralya, on School Street, and Murphy, on Lake Lansing Road, house grades 2-5. Children are assigned to a building based on their residence. Both schools emphasize literacy, experiential learning in math and science, social studies, and core democratic values, and offer art, technology, engineering, music, and physical education for all students.

Grades 6 to 8

Haslett Middle School

Located on Franklin Street, the Middle School is dedicated to the developmental needs of young adolescents, fostering responsibility, citizenship, and high achievement. A broad exploratory program spans the arts, STEM, and more, and students can earn high school credit for Spanish 1, French 1, Health, Earth Science, and Algebra 1.

Grades 9 to 12

Haslett High School

Located on Marsh Road, the High School offers a wide range of electives, including numerous Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses, and robust STEM education. Comprehensive athletic and music programs help ensure students are well-prepared for college and career paths in an ever-changing world.

Community Education

Haslett Public Schools takes pride in offering a wide variety of Community Education programs designed to meet the needs of students, families, and community members outside the traditional school day.

Kids Connection

Our Kids Connection program provides licensed before- and after-school care at each elementary building, full-day care on many "no school" days and breaks, and a Summer Care program.

Enrichment & Recreation

We offer hundreds of classes and special events for all ages, and this department also manages district facility use applications and reservations. Our staff and services remain available year-round to support the community.
