Begin the online process and become a Haslett student. The whole enrollment can be completed online, in just a few steps.

Before You Begin

If you are interested in 4-year-old PreK for All, GSRP at Wilkshire Early Childhood Center, please register here and choose "Potential Program". In comments, type Haslett PreK.

Enrolling over the summer? If you complete enrollment during the summer, you may not receive confirmation from the school until the office reopens in mid-August.

Prefer another language? Right-click on the online form, select Translate, and choose the language you would like to use. For more detail, see Skyward's guide to translation tools.

Documents to Have Ready

Please have the following documents available before you start the online registration.

  • Original Certified Birth Certificate*
  • Proof of Residency (provide one of the following):
    • Mortgage payment receipt
    • Property tax bill
    • Rent receipt
    • Utility bill or current rental lease
  • Valid Parent/Guardian Identification: driver's license, state ID, or passport (a photo taken with a cell phone is acceptable).
  • Proof of Custody (when applicable): court-issued papers showing that you have legal physical custody.
  • Current Immunization Records: state law prohibits a child from attending a new school without proof of immunization. See Vaccines Required for School Entry.

*Getting an Original Certified Birth Certificate

  • Order online using the VitalChek service.
  • Go to the courthouse of the county where the child was born.
  • Contact the State of Michigan Vital Records office at (517) 335-8656.
