Board Meeting Schedule
Board of Education meetings are open to the public, and we welcome our community to attend. Meetings are where the Board sets policy, reviews recommendations from the Superintendent, and shapes priorities for our schools.
The full schedule of this year's regular meeting dates appears in the calendar below. Special meetings may be called at the Board's discretion and are posted at the Board Office, in the front window of each Haslett Public Schools building, and on the district website.
Share Your Voice at a Meeting
We value hearing from our community. Every regular meeting includes time for public comment, and you are welcome to speak. A few simple guidelines keep the meeting orderly and fair to everyone:
- When recognized, please state your name and address.
- Each speaker has up to three minutes.
- Please direct your comments to the Board as a whole rather than to individual members or others in attendance.
- If you are part of a group or share a viewpoint with others, we encourage you to designate a spokesperson.
Share Input Before a Meeting
You can also reach Board members ahead of a meeting to provide input, share concerns, or ask questions using the contact information on the Board of Education webpage. Comments or letters sent to the Board are not read aloud during public comment, but their receipt is noted during the meeting.
Accessibility
Persons with disabilities who need special accommodations to participate in a meeting should contact the Superintendent's Office at 517-339-8242 at least 72 hours in advance. Official minutes are available for public inspection at the Administration Office and on the district website.
