Fall 2025 course registration is now open!

In addition to registering in person at Haslett Community Education or by calling (517) 339-2665 during business hours, online registration is also open and ongoing! Follow the link below, enter your email address as your username, and choose "forgot password."  A password will be emailed to you, and you can start registering immediately.  Have you ever registered with us before? That is also okay; click the link below to get started.  You can search for activities without signing in or creating an account.

Instructors Needed

We are seeking talented individuals to lead students of all ages in various classes and subject areas. Whether you are an experienced teacher in the community or a knowledgeable hobbyist ready to share your tricks for success, we would love to speak with you.  Please note that we choose classes based on various factors, including space availability, current trends, and past performance. We will work with you to create the best program for our community members! 

Fall Programs:
Mid-September through December
Fall Instructor Deadline:
The second week of July

Winter Programs:
Mid-January through March
Winter Instructor Deadline:
The second Week of October

Spring/Summer Programs:
Mid-April through August
Spring/Summer Instructor Deadline:
The second week of March

Inclement Weather Updates for Summer Sports Camps

Participant and staff safety is our top priority. If inclement weather requires camp cancellations or delays, we'll update this section as soon as information becomes available. We'll also make every effort to email participants as quickly as possible and call if time permits.

Tennis Camp Update
Thursday, 6/19

Due to weather and court conditions, ALL Tennis Camps have been cancelled for today, 6/19. Make-ups will be held tomorrow, Friday, 6/20, at the same times and location.

6th-8th Grade Soccer Camp Updates
Monday, 6/23
Due to weather conditions, we will relocate all 6th-8th Grade Soccer Camp activities indoors to the Haslett High School Practice Gym. Please bring indoor, non-marking shoes for the gym floor.
Tuesday, 6/24
6th-8th Grade Soccer Camp will meet in the Haslett High School Practice Gym, but will move outside to the stadium as weather permits.  Please bring indoor, non-marking shoes suitable for the gym floor, as well as outdoor shoes and a water bottle. 

Tennis Camp Update
Wednesday, 7/9

Due to weather and court conditions, 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM Tennis Camps have been cancelled for today, 7/9. Make-ups will be held, Friday, 7/11, at the same times and location.  Updates for afternoon camps will be posted after 11:00 AM

What happens if schools are closed?

If Haslett Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, all Haslett Community Education classes and HPS Facility Use reservations are canceled. Classes will be made up if possible once activities have resumed.  Office staff may not be in on those days, so please email any immediate questions or concerns to Angela Dove at doveam@haslett.k12.mi.us    

Upcoming Events

"HIP" Card

Haslett Public Schools offers the Haslett Important Person (HIP) Card to Haslett Public School District residents age 62 and over. This card entitles them to free admission to Haslett athletic events, concerts, plays, and Community Education adult fitness courses (spaces are limited) and 50% off Community adult enrichment courses (this does not include travel programs).  Bring proof of age and Haslett School District residency to the Community Education office at 1590 Franklin Street.  Please call (517) 339-2665 for additional information.
